Melanie Munt, a dual Australian/American citizen, is an established actor and voiceover artist, and an emerging screenwriter. She studied acting at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Acting) in 2005. 
Melanie has worked extensively in film, television, and theatre in Los Angeles and Australia, garnering a Western Australian Screen Award for her work in Trinkets, a Perth Theatre Equity Guild Award for her portrayal of Evelyn in LaBute's The Shape of Things, and a best actress nomination from Maverick Movie Awards for her performance in the short film Terms of Service, shot in Los Angeles. 
Currently focusing on screenwriting, Melanie has written two pilots and a short form series which are in pre-development stage. Her writing has placed in competitions around the world including Raindance Film Festival's script competition, Final Draft's Big Break competition, and Screencraft's TV Pilot competition. 
Melanie now resides in Adelaide, with additional bases in Sydney, Perth, and Los Angeles. She is represented by Ann Peters / SA Casting - (08) 8232 0560.
